NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – The body recovered in the river near the 400 block of E. Indian River Road has been confirmed as that of Bruce E. Hanna, a missing Norfolk man.

The 48-year-old has been missing since October 30, 2021, when he was released from the hospital.
Just before 3:00 p.m., on November 8, 2021, dispatchers received a call about a body floating in the water.

Norfolk police and fire-rescue responded and recovered a man’s body from the water.
No foul play is suspected.
