City Of Norfolk: Norfolk Police Identify Homicide Victim On Norcova Avenue

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives have identified the man who was killed Sunday evening on Norcova Avenue.

On September 12, 2021, around 6:55 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Norcova Avenue for the report of a gunshot victim. When police arrived, they found Travis L. Davis, 43, of Norfolk, suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. Davis was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A person of interest was detained at the scene by officers; however, no charges have been filed at this time.

This incident will be turned over to the Office of the Norfolk Commonwealth’s Attorney for further review.
