City Of Norfolk: Norfolk Police Investigating Fatal Shooting On E. Princess Anne Road

NORFOLK, Va. (NPD) – Detectives are continuing to investigate a shooting that left a man dead, and a woman injured Thursday evening.

Around 7:30 p.m., police responded to the 2300 block of E. Princess Anne Road for the report of a gunshot victim. When officers arrived, they located a man, 28-year-old Shakee Davis, of Norfolk, suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds. Davis was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Police were notified a short time later that a female gunshot victim had arrived at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital by car. After speaking with the woman, Detectives determined that these two incidents were both related. The woman’s injuries are non-life-threatening.
