- November is National Adoption Month, and the Norfolk Department of Human Services has released its latest set of data that reflects the need of children and adolescents within Hampton Roads. According to the data, in September of this year, there were 51 children in Norfolk looking for their forever families. 36 of those children are completely ready for adoption. (13newsnow.com WVEC)
- The Norfolk Animal Care and Adoption Center started its "Home for the Holidays" special on all of its animals this Saturday, Nov. 20, and it's expected to end on Jan. 1, 2022. The center is offering all of its animals for $50, and two adult cats can be adopted for the price of one. Animal care officials say it's a nice gift for someone who needs a companion.
