NORFOLK, VA – Norfolk Public Library (NPL) expands its collections with the help of a generous $5,000 donation from The Friends of the Norfolk Public Library. The donation is being partially used to purchase additional copies of currently popular books. This step will help to reduce hold times and better meet community needs.

Another portion of the gift money is being used to purchase access to new fiction and nonfiction eBooks and eAudiobooks for all ages that address social justice and activism. The curation of additional titles for NPL’s digital collection meets the growing demand for these topics.
