Through the Skills Academy Initiative, IBM is donating assets that include guest lectures, curriculum content, digital badges, software and faculty training to select HBCUs by the end of 2020. Students will take the concepts learned, apply them to a wide range of real business scenarios using industry solutions, and earn industry recognized digital badges in numerous areas.
Other HBCUs who are part of the Skills Academy Initiative include Fayetteville State University, Grambling State University, Johnson C. Smith University, North Carolina Central University, Stillman University, Virginia State and West Virginia State University.
