Here are the top three stories today in Norfolk:

1. A Norfolk man has been sentenced to 38 years in prison on charges of sex trafficking, drugs, and firearms. LeAnthony Winston is a six-time convicted felon who was charged with trafficking two homeless women in Norfolk from March through May of 2020. While the women worked for Winston, he allegedly supplied them with methamphetamine and crack cocaine. Winston was arrested following an investigation by the Hampton Roads Human Trafficking Task Force. (13newsnow.com WVEC)
2. Phase one of removing the crane that fell into the Hampton Roads Bridge-Tunnel has begun. The crane fell off a barge in Willoughby Bay last month. The first phase consists of removing the crane's boom and preparing the area for phase two of the removal project. (News 3 WTKR Norfolk)
3. Norfolk resident Jason Ewers, 44, fled from a vehicle in Halifax County after being stopped by deputies on a Florida vehicle registration violation. Deputies found methamphetamine, cocaine, and other drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. Warrants have been issued for Ewers' arrest. (WAVY.com)
