  1. Parts of the West Norfolk Bridge in Portsmouth were shut down Tuesday morning as they work to find a person involved in a police chase. Portsmouth police said they were led on a vehicle pursuit around 4:52 a.m. near the 3100 block of Deep Creek Blvd. That's near the intersection with Frederick Boulevard. (13newsnow.com WVEC)
  2. Police identified a man who was shot and killed in Norfolk Monday night. Around 9:20 p.m., officers responded to the 700 block of B Avenue after receiving reports of a gunshot victim. When they arrived, police found a single victim suffering from a fatal gunshot wound. (Daily Press)
  3. The trial for the Norfolk man accused of failing to protect his 4-year-old son from beating death has begun. (The Virginian-Pilot)
