Norfolk Publishes 2020 Flood Mitigation Annual Progress Report
Norfolk worked with 20 other communities to develop the Flood Mitigation Plan in 2017.

NORFOLK, VA – The City of Norfolk published its 2020 annual progress report as part of the Hampton Roads Flood Mitigation Plan and the city’s 14 required mitigation actions outlined in it. As part of Norfolk’s participation in the Community Rating System (CRS), a report of the plan and Norfolk’s progress in implementing the actions is required on an annual basis.

In 2017, Norfolk worked with 20 other communities to develop the plan, which addresses goals and mitigation measures for hazards that Hampton Roads faces and serves as the Flood Mitigation Plan for the City of Norfolk.
