- Students in Norfolk in need of a meal during the Christmas holiday will have several options to go to. Free Grab-N-Go meals will be offered at seven schools on four days during the winter academic break. Hot meals will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis along with a variety of "take and make" meals which include ready-to-eat, thaw-and-serve, and microwavable items. (WAVY.com)
- If entrepreneurship is on your list of New Year's resolutions, Selden Market is looking for local businesses to become storefront retailers in the new year. Founded in 2017, the Downtown Norfolk marketplace serves as an incubator for new and emerging businesses in Norfolk. - Dunkin' is partnering with Virginia-based charitable foundation Matthew Smiles to help to raise awareness on the importance of mental health. Those who donate $1.50 to Matthew Smiles at participating Dunkin' restaurants in Richmond, Norfolk, and Outer Banks will receive a specialty Matthew Smiles donut. 100% of funds raised will benefit Matthew Smiles' mission to help fund programs and resources that foster education around mental health and create stable, non-threatening environments for kids to be open about their mental health with their families and one another.
