  1. Virginia State Police are currently investigating a shooting involving two Norfolk Police officers. On Saturday, Feb. 12, Norfolk Police responded to a report of a person with a weapon in the 100 block of Granby Street around 10:30 p.m. When officers arrived on the scene, they encountered a man armed with a handgun. After the shooting, the man was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and a firearm was recovered at the scene. (Press Release Desk )

"Teens with a Purpose," a Norfolk youth organization that uses art to enable teens to express themselves and learn valuable life lessons, has recently caught the attention of Colonial Williamsburg. For their latest cultural project, "Teens with a Purpose" participants will present songs, poems, dances, and other personal stories to help share how similar people are. (WAVY.com)
  3. Norfolk police are investigating a hit-and-run incident at the intersection of West 35th Street and Hampton Boulevard that occurred around 1:30 p.m on Saturday, Feb. 12. A male pedestrian was reportedly struck by a red Jeep and was taken to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious injuries.
