  1. The Norfolk Animal Care and Adoption Center is in dire need of pet adoptions and foster families. The center is reaching its capacity and needs the community to help alleviate the increased amount of animals that are arriving at the center. Dog and cat adoption fees are currently set at only $50 with the NACC covering all medical and food costs for animals placed in foster care. (WAVY.com)
  2. Tyler, The Creator canceled his Friday Norfolk show via Twitter on Thursday. The show was originally scheduled for Chartway Arena but the artist canceled due to local staffing shortages. The artist has announced that refunds will be made available for those who purchased tickets for the show. (WAVY.com)
  3. Norfolk State University's Spartan Food Pantry has received a record number of donations thanks to a partnership with Harris Teeter. The local grocery chain pledged to contribute $50,000 over the next five years to support the food pantry that provides food security to students.
