“Studies have shown that Visitor Information Centers remain one of the most significant ways for us to connect with travelers while in the destination,” said Kurt Krause, President & CEO of VisitNorfolk. “We welcome on average 2.7 million visitors to Norfolk each year and wanted to create a space that reflected the wonderful amenities our city offers. From a vibrant waterfront, dining scene and world-class attractions, you can see and feel how we are celebrating Norfolk’s rich history and culture within the Information Center,” Krause said.

This center was also designed to be a place to raise awareness for not only visitors, but also local residents. Residents within Coastal Virginia can benefit by learning about the Norfolk events, attractions and relocation information. It will be a place for everyone to gather within downtown to celebrate our city before setting out to explore.
We encourage you to join us to celebrate this brilliant new space on Friday, November 15 from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Open House.
