- A police pursuit that started in Chesapeake led to a crash in Norfolk that left five people injured. Chesapeake police were conducting a traffic stop at Bainbridge Boulevard and Chesapeake Drive when a vehicle refused to stop which started a police chase. The suspect crashed their vehicle into another vehicle on East Princess Anne Road in Norfolk. Four people in the suspect's vehicle sustained minor injuries while the man in the vehicle that was struck was sent to a local hospital with serious injuries. (WAVY.com)

During the COVID-19 pandemic, 2.4 million more retirees entered the retirement life stage due to asset appreciation and health concerns related to the virus. - Norfolk Tides announced the return of The Youth Field Makeover Project which uses Tides groundskeepers and front-end staff to renovate fields for youth baseball. Since the program started in 2012, Norfolk Tides' program has renovated 15 fields in the Norfolk area.
