• Public comment opportunities in Dominion-NextEra Energy deal (wdbj7.com) — Roanoke residents who get power from Dominion or NextEra-linked utilities can now submit comments on a proposed $67 billion merger that could reshape electric service across Virginia. The State Corporation Commission is accepting online comments through November 9 and will hold in-person and telephone hearings ahead of a final decision within six months.
