Construction Worker Falls From Castro Valley Bridge
The worker's injury forced an elaborate rescue by firefighters.

CASTRO VALLEY, CA — A construction worker who fell from a bridge in Castro Valley had to be rescued by firefighters on Friday.
The Alameda COunty Fire Department received a call about the injured worker at 4:56 p.m.
The worker had fallen about 15 feet. Firefighters "set up a haul system, and once packaged, the patient was removed from the creek area," according to the department.

The worker was transported to the hospital with a leg injury.
