Suspect Sought On Peninsula Used Machete In Murder: Complaint
Javier Guevara, who is still at large on a $100,000 warrant, should be considered armed and dangerous, according to police.
The Marin County Sheriff's Office has amended the complaint against one of the three defendants charged with the murder and attempted murder of two Novato High School teenage boys last week.
The new complaint alleges 19-year-old Javier Guevara used a machete in the murder of Edwin Josue Ramirez Guerra, 17, of San Rafael, and the attempted murder of the teen who was shot and stabbed but survived the attack in Novato on May 25.
Sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant on South Norfolk Street in San Mateo on Wednesday for Javier Guevara, the brother of co-defendant Edwin Guevara, 16.
