Hidden Gems Of Hartford And Tolland Counties

MANCHESTER, CT — The latest trek to a Hidden Gem in Hartford and Tolland counties takes us to one of the largest toy and specialty hobby stores in the country.

Welcome to the Time Machine toy and hobby store in Manchester.

For years, Time Machine has occupied a former factory, a bit off the beaten path, at 71 Hilliard St.

There, enthusiasts find an extensive variety of toys, games and arts and crafts supplies.

A point of emphasis at Time Machine is supporting "a solid foundation in education and family bonding."

Models, trains, kites and rockets have always been popular items at the store on the hobby side. Puzzles, games and children's specialty toys are also popular offerings.
