When Did Jennifer Dulos Die? Former Prosecutor Has Questions: Report
Former Chief State's Attorney Richard Colangelo reportedly has a theory of when the New Canaan mother-of-five may have died.

NEW CANAAN, CT — She has been officially declared dead, but just when did Jennifer Farber Dulos die? Former Chief State's Attorney Richard Colangelo reportedly has a theory.
The Connecticut Post reports that Colangelo, now an adjunct faculty member at the University of New Haven, recently said during a college lecture that Dulos may have still been alive after she was attacked and taken from the garage of her New Canaan home in May 2019.
Prosecutors believe that the late Fotis Dulos, Jennifer's estranged husband, kidnapped and murdered her, but Colangelo said that no one knows whether she died in the garage or later.

Jennifer's body has not been found, though Colangelo also believes that she may have been buried in Farmington, near where she, Fotis and their children once lived before she moved with her kids to New Canaan.
Colangelo was the lead prosecutor on the case, when Fotis Dulos was charged in connection with the killing. Fotis Dulos never stood trial, because he died in January 2020 after he attempted suicide.

Prosecutors believe Jennifer was restrained with zip ties in the garage before Fotis carted her off and disposed of her body.
Zip ties were among the evidence found by investigators, in addition to articles of bloody clothing and other blood-stained items, discovered dumped in Hartford.
The Duloses were in the midst of a contentious divorce and custody fight over their five children at the time of Jennifer's disappearance.
Fotis' former girlfriend, Michelle Troconis, is currently serving 14 and a half years in prison, following her conviction in the spring on charges of conspiracy to commit murder and related violations.
Another suspect in the case, Kent Mawhinney, one of Fotis' former friends, was also charged with conspiracy to commit murder in the case — like Troconis, he is accused of helping Fotis plan and/or coverup the murder.
A trial date for Mawhinney, who is free on bond, has not yet been scheduled.
