More Famous Individuals Who Survived Abortion:

Some 40 percent of the Black babies are aborted in the U.S. before they are born. How many could be the next Oprah or Dr. Ben Carson? But that tragic pattern is played out across racial groups, as over a million abortions occur annually in the U.S., and the number increased after the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision that overturned Roe v. Wade.

So, it is no surprise that numbers of Christian churches across Polk County and other parts of Florida and other states where something similar to Amendment 4 is proposed.

But Amendment 4 should be opposed by even those who may think of themselves as pro-abortion. Why?

Amendment 4 and Amendment 3 are being pushed by special interests who think they can cash in by passing these protections for their business interests.

From Do No Harm Flordia is there snapshot, similar to the above.

Regarding FL Amendment 3, and similar pitches by special interests in other states, consider the following.

Per Vote No on 3 are the following.

"Did you know?

Marijuana mega corporations have spent over $75 million trying to pass Amendment 3. Why? It entrenches their monopoly, bans homegrown pot, and gives special licenses to corporations. They wrote it. They rigged it. And they are hoping you fall for it. Amendment 3 isn’t the marijuana amendment, it’s the monopoly amendment."

While I've never used it, nor any other illegal drugs, let me say that I'm empathethic to those who want to see marijuana use decriminalized. The war on drugs has not worked as advertised. That said, on both Amendment 3 and Amendment 4, there is a right and a wrong way of doing this. By making these amendment part of the constitution, it makes changes much more difficult when problems are identified with these planned laws. The better way to do this, per FL lawmakers who oppose these measures, is to let the legislature hammer out the bill(s). They can then be tweaked as needed later. That would not happen if they are made a part of the state constitution in their current forms.

It doesn't matter that both Donald Trump and Kamala Harris support Amendment 3. They have political motivations. Tens of millions of dollars are being spent to get these amendments passed because they would be profitable to their backers.
