Election 2014: Dallas, Hiram Voters Show Up Big for GOP
Perdue, Deal lead Republican sweep in Paulding County.

Paulding County voters overwhelming favored Republican candidates on Election 2014.
Republican candidates swept the Paulding vote in every contested race on the ballot — federal, state and county. (see results below)
The local margins were staggering in the major races for U.S. Senate and Governor, according to Georgia Secretary of State data.

David Perdue, who drew 53 percent of the Georgia vote to win the U.S. Senate seat over Michelle Nunn, had 68.70 percent in Paulding. Nunn had only 28.76 percent.
Gov. Nathan Deal, who won re-election with 52.8 percent in Georgia, scored 67.62 percent in Paulding (Jason Carter had 29.33 percent).

The Secretary of State’s office said 36,803 of Paulding County’s 76,088 registered voters cast their ballots, a voter turnout of 48.37 percent.
