GLENVIEW, IL — The following information comes from the Glenview Police Department (unless otherwise noted) and court records as a record of police activity, including incidents reported by the public and those arrested by police. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and are often dropped or reduced. Updated information may be available from the Cook County Clerk of the Circuit Court.

Every person arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

Gerald Hacker, 40, of the 500 block of Cherry Lane, Glenview, is accused of two counts of residential burglary, theft, and was arrested at 4:42 p.m. June 18 following investigations in the 1500 block of Longvalley Road, 3800 block of La Fontaine Drive and the 1900 block of Robincrest Lane.

  • Ellen M. Holubar, 54, of the 1300 block of Brandywn Lane, Buffalo Grove, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol (blood alcohol content percentage of .08 or more), disobeying a traffic signal, and was arrested at 3:44 p.m. June 19 following a traffic crash investigation in the 4200 block of West Lake Avenue. She was released on a $1,000 bond and assigned a court date of July 27.
  • Elizabeth Hurley, 52, of the 2200 block of Prairie Street, Glenview, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, resisting a peace officer, improper lane usage, speeding following a traffic stop, and was arrested at 11:24 p.m. June 19, in the 1400 block of Hawthorne Lane. She was released on a $1,000 bond and assigned a court date of July 27.
  • Gregory Kelly, 54, of the 1100 block of East Northwest Highway, Palatine, is accused of felony driving under the influence of alcohol (fourth violation), driving on a suspended/revoked driver's license, illegal transportation of alcohol, and was arrested at 1:21 p.m. June 18 in the 3100 block of Knollwood Lane.
  • Lukasz Stalica, 26, of the 1300 block of Plymouth Lane, Glenview, is accused of driving under the influence of alcohol, speeding 40 miles over the speed limit, having no driver's license or permit, and was arrested at 11:29 p.m. June 15 at Lake Cook Road and Milwaukee Avenue, Buffalo Grove. VIOLATION OF AN ORDER OF PROTECTION

James Bohr, 44, of the 1300 block of East Lake Avenue, Glenview, is accused of violating an order of protection after and investigation of unwanted text messages and was arrested at 5:28 p.m. June 15.

POSSESSION OF A FRAUDULENT IDENTIFICATION CARD

Aaron Moore, of the 100 block of Forest Boulevard, Park Forest, is accused of identity theft in the 1200 block of Milwaukee Avenue and was arrested at 6:11 p.m. June 15 at that location.

SPEEDING

Christopher Morrow, 22, of the 5300 block of Wallace Street, Chicago, is accused of speeding 26-34 miles per hour over the speed limit, and was arrested after a traffic stop at 10:21 a.m. June 16 in the 9700 block of Milwaukee Avenue. He was issued a bond of $2,500 and given a court date of July 27.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

  • A resident in the 2100 block of Golf Court called police at 9:12 a.m. June 16 to report someone damaged three windows at the residence. The reported loss is $600.
  • A resident in the 3700 block of Springdale Avenue reported at 7:30 p.m. June 20 damage to a window at the residence. The reported loss is $1,000.

THEFT

  • A resident in the 1000 block of Elmdale Road called police at 10:32 a.m. June 16 to report someone stole an unsecured bike from the front lawn or open garage sometime in the last week. The reported loss is $199.
  • A resident in the 700 block of Waukegan Road reported at 8:36 p.m. June 16 someone took jewelry and money from their residence without permission.
  • A restaurant employee at a business in the 1600 block of Milwaukee Avenue called police at 2:17 p.m. June 19 to report a customer left without paying for his meal. The reported loss is $30.
  • A resident in the 900 block of Raleigh Road reported at 1:33 p.m. June 22 someone stole an unsecured bicycle from the property sometime on June 20. The reported loss is $225.

CRIMINAL DEFACEMENT

  • A passerby called police at 10:57 a.m. June 16 to report graffiti on the wall of a building in the 400 block of Waukegan Road. The reported loss is $200.
  • An employee of a business in the 3700 block of East Lake Avenue reported at 1:24 p.m. June 18 graffiti on the south side of the reservoir building. The reported loss is $500.

BATTERY

  • An employee of a business in the 800 block of Milwaukee Avenue called police at 11:32 a.m. June 16 to report a co-worker threw a bottle of sanitizer at him during an argument.
  • A park patron in the 1000 block of Zenith Drive reported at 8:27 p.m. June 21 fighting with another person during a basketball game.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

  • A resident in the 1700 block of Brush Hill Lane called police at 4:38 p.m. June 16 to report someone entered their home and ransacked a bedroom. A window was slightly open and the screen was removed. The reported loss is $20.
  • A resident in the 300 block of East Lake Avenue reported at 4:50 p.m. June 19 being distracted in the yard while another person entered the residence and stole jewelry from a bedroom. The amount of loss is unknown.

HARASSMENT BY TELEPHONE

  • A resident in the 1800 block of Tower Drive called police at 3:14 p.m. June 16 to report receiving unwanted emails and telephone calls.
  • A resident in the 800 block of Lenox Lane reported at 5:27 p.m. June 18 receiving unwanted telephone calls.
  • A resident in the 1800 block of Tower Drive called police at 4:25 p.m. June 18 to report receiving unwanted telephone calls.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

An Uber driver reported at 11:54 p.m. June 16 a passenger pulled a pocket knife out and started yelling at him to drop her off. He stopped the car at Willow Road and Waterview Drive, and she left the car.

BURGLARY

  • A resident in the 1000 block of Glenwood Lane called police at 8:10 a.m. June 17 to report someone entered an unlocked vehicle during the overnight hours and stole cash from inside. The reported loss is $20.
  • A resident in the 1700 block of Del Ogier Drive reported at 8:34 a.m. June 17 someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked on the driveway during the overnight hours and rummaged through the center console and glove box. Nothing was taken and there is no loss.
  • A resident in the 2900 block of Peachgate Court called police at 8:41 a.m. June 17 to report someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked on the driveway during the overnight hours and rummaged through the interior. Nothing appeared taken and there is no loss.
  • A resident in the 2900 block of Peachgate Court reported at 9:04 June 17 someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked on the driveway during the overnight hours and rummaged through the interior. Nothing was taken and there is no loss.
  • A resident in the 2900 block of Peachgate Court called police at 9:15 a.m. June 17 to report someone entered a vehicle parked on the driveway during the overnight hours and stole a black briefcase containing electronic devices. The reported loss is $5,500.
  • A resident in the 1500 block of Midway Lane reported at 1:01 p.m. June 18 someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked on the driveway during the overnight hours and rummaged through the glove box. Nothing was taken and there is no loss.
  • A resident in the 1400 block of Central Parkway called police at 9:14 p.m. June 18 to report someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked on the street in front of their house and took a wallet from the center console. The reported loss is $400.
  • A resident in the 1400 block of Glenview Road reported at 10:31 p.m. June 18 someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked on the street and rummaged through the glove box and center console. Nothing appeared missing and there is no loss.
  • A resident in the 2000 block of Brandon Road called police at 11:11 a.m. June 19 to report someone entered an unlocked vehicle parked on the driveway during the overnight hours and took money and a gym bag. The reported loss is $125.

RETAIL THEFT

  • An employee of a business in the 1900 block of Tower Drive reported at 7:35 p.m. June 17 someone entered the store, took clothing off the rack and left without paying. The reported loss is $100.
  • An employee of a business in the 1900 block of Tower Drive called police at 3:28 p.m. June 22 to report someone concealed three items and left the store without paying. A 33-year-old woman from Northbrook was issued an ordinance violation ticket for theft and there is no loss.

UNWANTED PERSON

A resident in the 1700 block of Linneman Street reported at 12:17 p.m. June 18 someone was on the property without permission.

IDENTITY THEFT

A Dewes Street resident called police at 9:16 a.m. June 19 to report someone used their personal information to open an unemployment claim. There is no loss.

TRESPASS

A citizen reported at 7:30 p.m. June 19 kids were on top of the Cunliff Park Fieldhouse, 560 Echo Lane. Four juvenile females were found on the roof, issued an ordinance violation ticket for trespass and turned over to their parents.

CURFEW

A 15-year-old male at 12:51 a.m. June 22 was observed riding a bike past curfew in the 300 block of Glenview Road. He was issued an ordinance violation ticket and brought home.

FALSE PERSONATION

An employee at a business in the 1600 block of Waukegan Road called police at 8:14 a.m. June 22 to report someone called, identified himself as a lieutenant in the Glenview Police Department and requested the employee make a bank deposit to further an investigation. No money was moved and there is no loss.

ARSON

A passerby reported at 1:53 p.m. June 22 a garbage bin on fire at Sleepy Hollow Park, 1821 Maplewood Lane. The reported loss is $200.
