LoveShackFancy, a globally recognized fashion, home, and lifestyle brand, is set to open in Massachusetts. The store will open at 27 Boylston St., The Street, Chestnut Hill, later this Spring.

Neiman Marcus inside Copley Place in Boston is closing, Simon Property Group, the mall's operator, announced on Tuesday. There will be a major redevelopment of the multi-level store, including two new luxury restaurants and additional retail, dining, and wellness concepts.

Meat packager to close facility in Massachusetts and lay off nearly 200 employees

Almost 200 Massachusetts employees will lose their jobs this year as Smithfield Packaged Meats Corp, a meat packaging facility in Springfield, is set to close.

The company filed a WARN notice with the state, claiming it would lay off 190 employees sometime between Apr. 10 and Sep. 11.

An iconic Massachusetts store will celebrate 55 years in business this summer

Duck Soup, which opened in Sudbury's Mill Village Shopping Center back in 1971, is set to celebrate its 55th anniversary later this year.

The store, which sells unique coffee, food, gifts, and the almost-defunct Sky Bar, has been a longtime staple for residents of Sudbury.
