Massachusetts School Closings For Thursday Jan 4 Blizzard
A 'bomb cyclone' is expected to dump as much as 15 inches of snow in some places Thursday. Here's what schools are closed.
A "bomb cyclone" is headed for Massachusetts on Thursday, bringing wind gusts up to 50-70 miles per hour and up to 12-15 inches of snow to much of the eastern part of the state. Central and western Massachusetts aren't out of the woods, either; the region could see anywhere from 4-8 inches when all is said and done.
The storm is expected to start around dawn Thursday and last through the evening, finishing around 10 p.m. School closures are expected for Thursday and Friday.
