MA Patch Daily: Destructive, Deadly Fires Hit the Bay State

It has literally been a hot day for news in the Bay State with accidents, fires, and, unfortunately, tragedy, including a death in Arlington after a condo fire in that town early this morning. Firefighters from around the region are in Gardner battling a massive blaze there. A scary situation – caught on video – was also reported in Chelsea as a tree collapsed on several children playing in a local park. An elderly couple from Sudbury was also found stabbed to death in their vacation home in the Virgin Islands. Their son was arrested in Sudbury and charged with the crime. A heroin dealer in Wareham has been charged with manslaughter after the death of a local woman. And police in Hyannis are on looking for a man after a girl reportedly fought of an abduction attempt yesterday.
