Georgia Man Indicted On DUI, Other Charges After School Bus Crash: Superior Court Roundup

Man faces more 1990s child sexual assault charges; Goffstown teen indicted on stolen gun charge; felon accused of possessing gun in Bedford.

MANCHESTER, NH — A Hillsborough County grand jury indicted the following people recently.

Robert Barry, 60, with a last known address of South Road in Sullivan, on attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault, aggravated felonious sexual assault, and felonious sexual assault charges, all felonies. He was accused of sexually assaulting and attempting to rape a girl between Jan. 1, 1995, and Nov. 23, 1999, in Hillsboro.

Christopher Bedard, 44, of Pinecrest Road in Jaffrey on a felony second-degree assault-domestic violence-strangulation charge. He was accused of strangling an intimate partner in Peterborough on April 7.

Kevin Bemis, 41, of Dubuque Street in Manchester on motor vehicles; driving as a habitual offender and domestic violence-criminal threatening charges, both felonies. He drove on Laurel Street in Manchester on March 14 after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV and threatened to cut a family member’s throat on March 21 in Manchester while holding a steak knife, according to the indictments.

Bethany Bishop, 38, of Pine Street in Manchester on possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled drug-subsequent-meth, sale of meth, sale of a controlled drug-subsequent-meth, and possession or control of a dangerous weapon in a courthouse charges, all felonies. The drug charges stem from an incident in Manchester on Dec. 29, 2021. The weapon charge was a knife on June 6 in Manchester, according to the indictment.

Thomas Bourque, 41, of Spruce Street in Manchester on a felony felon in possession of a dangerous weapon charge. He was accused of possessing a Ruger 9 mm handgun in Bedford on Nov. 15, 2023. Bourque is a felon due to a burglary conviction in Hillsborough County Superior Court South, the indictment stated.

Raul Breton, 32, of Railroad Street in Methuen, Massachusetts, on a felony sale of a controlled drug charge. He was accused of selling fentanyl to a confidential informant in Manchester on Feb. 3, 2022.

Adam Burden, 48, of Millstone Way in Manchester on a felony second-degree assault charge. He was accused of strangling an intimate partner on April 6 in Manchester.

Michael Carrow, 25, of Scotlandwell Place in Alpharetta, Georgia, on reckless conduct, criminal mischief, and two driving or operating under the influence of drugs or liquor charges, all felonies. He drove a Mitsubishi SUV on River Road and Union Street at excessive speed and disregarded stop signs, drove more than 30 mph over the speed limit while intoxicated, had an alcohol level of more than 0.08, and crashed into a sign and two school buses at the Derryfield School in Manchester on March 11, according to the indictments. Drew Chiras, 19, of Rochambeau Street in Goffstown on receiving stolen property and falsifying physical evidence charges, both felonies. He was accused of possessing a stolen Glock 9 mm in Manchester and removing it from a vehicle to impair an investigation on April 19.

Alfred Colon, 39, a homeless man now located in Manchester, on a felony illegal possession of a controlled drug-meth on June 20, 2023, in Manchester.
