Man Indicted On Trafficking Girl, Child Sexual Abuse Image Charges: Superior Court Roundup

Teen faces kidnapping charge; man accused of fondling girl; man accused of fracturing victim's eye socket; felon indicted on knife charge.

MANCHESTER, NH — A Hillsborough County grand jury indicted the following people recently.

Nicholas Acevedo, 33 of Manchester Street in Manchester on a felony robbery charge. He was accused of hitting another person with a bottle during a theft on Aug. 4 in Manchester.

Geraldo Arroyo-Oquendo, 51, of Vine Street in Nashua on first-degree assault and two second-degree assault charges, all felonies. He was accused of striking another person in the head repeatedly and fracturing their eye socket on April 16 in Manchester.

Ryan Auger, 41, of Roxbury Street in Keene on possession of crack/cocaine, pistols & revolvers; convicted felons, and theft by unauthorized taking charges, all felonies. He was accused of possessing the drugs, possessing a knife, and removing items from a home on Wilton Road in Peterborough on July 12. Previously, he has been convicted on theft charges in Sullivan and Hillsborough county superior courts in January 2010.

Joseph Baio, 35, of Auburn Street in Manchester on trafficking in person, falsifying physical evidence, and 14 possession of child sexual abuse images charges, all felonies. He was accused of offering a girl for rape to a person on Facebook on July 6, possessing photos on July 5, and deleting his Facebook account to impair an investigation on July 6 in Manchester.

Lavaughn Barnett, 19, of Belmont Street in Manchester on a felony kidnapping charge. He was accused of holding a girl, a former intimate partner, against her will in his bedroom and was substantially motivated by animus and hostility toward the girl’s sexual orientation on Aug. 8 in Manchester.

Thomas Beals, 44, with a last known address of East High Street in Manchester on a felony aggravated felonious sexual assault charge. He was accused of fondling a girl between Sept. 21, 2015, and Sept. 21, 2016, in Manchester.

William Bergeron, 33, of Wilson Street in Manchester on a felony second-degree assault charge. He was accused of punching a child on Aug. 11 in Manchester.

Bethany Bishop, 37, of Pine Street in Manchester on possession of meth with prior offense, three possession of methamphetamine, and four sale of meth charges, all felonies, on Jan. 10 and Jan. 19, 2022, in Manchester.

Robert Broder, 55, of North Amherst Road in Bedford on receiving stolen property and possession of meth charges. He was accused of possessing a stolen motor scooter and the drug on July 2 in Manchester.
