Elderly Florida Man Indicted On Rape, Assault, Other Charges: Superior Court Roundup

MANCHESTER, NH — A Hillsborough County grand jury indicted the following people recently.

Liam Adams, 18, of Mammoth Road in Manchester on a felony riot charge. He was accused of acting with two or more other people to cause public alarm and injure another person in Manchester on Sept. 9. Louis Alvardo, 33, a homeless man now located in Manchester, on possession of fentanyl with intent to sell and falsifying physical evidence charges, both felonies. He was accused of possessing the drug and dropping a cigarette packet with the drug inside through an open window of a vehicle to impair an investigation on May 14 in Manchester.

Rola Ayoub, 33, a homeless man now located in Manchester, on six felony counts of possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute charges, fentanyl, crack cocaine, buprenorphine, on Sept. 14 in Manchester.

Robert Barry, 60, with a last known address of South Road, in Sullivan on two aggravated felonious sexual assault and five pattern-aggravated felonious sexual assault charges, all felonies. He was accused of raping, fondling, and sexually assaulting a girl repeatedly between Jan. 1, 1995, and Nov. 23, 1999, in Antrim.

Newton Bateman, 81, of Lawthorn Street in Villages, Florida, on aggravated felonious sexual assault, felonious sexual assault, domestic violence-criminal threatening, two criminal restraint, and two second-degree assault charges, all felonies. He was accused of tying up a woman to a chair, sexually assaulting, cutting her with a knife, threatening her with a knife, and smothering her with a pillow on July 10 in Goffstown.

Joshua Baumbach, 36, of Walnut Street in Manchester on a felony criminal threatening charge. He was accused of pointing a pistol at another person in Manchester on Sept. 5 and saying, “I’ll shoot you.”

Marcel Bavou, 21, of Manchester Street in Manchester on a felony felon in possession of a dangerous weapon charge. He was accused of possessing a knife on Aug. 18 in Manchester after being convicted of a felony.

Ian Bouchard, 40, of Merrimack Street in Manchester on three felony insurance fraud charges. He was accused of defrauding Progressive Universal Insurance Company on Jan. 28, Jan. 30, and Feb. 7.

Owen Breiding, 18, of Rimmon Street in Manchester on burglary and attempted burglary charges, both felonies. He was accused of burglarizing on Aug. 26 and attempting to burglarize on Oct. 7 Crosstown Variety on Amory Street in Manchester.

Robert Broder, 55, of North Amherst Road in Bedford on possession of fentanyl and two receiving stolen property charges, all felonies. He was accused of possessing the drug, stealing a motorized scooter, and stealing a debit card on July 27 in Manchester. Broder was convicted of theft in May 1988 and December 2017.
