Man Indicted On Attempted Murder Charge In Goffstown: Superior Court

Manchester men indicted on rape charges; woman accused of leaving gun near child who shot himself; felon indicted on dog torture charge.

MANCHESTER, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Hillsborough County Superior Court North.

Shawn Francis, 40, of Pine Street in Manchester on two felony attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault charges. He was accused of holding a woman down and attempting to rape her on April 17 in Manchester.

Austin Gagnon, 20, of Shasta Street in Manchester on two felony aggravated felonious sexual assault charges. He was accused of repeatedly raping a child between Oct. 6, 2010, and March 30 in Manchester.

Christopher Lacerte, 20, of Longwood Avenue of Manchester on first-degree, attempted first-degree murder, and two reckless conduct charges. He was accused of shooting another man on Feb. 7 in Goffstown while a second person was nearby. David Lafond, 42, of West River Road in Hooksett on a felony habitual offender charge. He was accused of driving on Electric Street on Jan. 28 after being deemed a habitual offender by the NH DMV.

Joan D. Lamesa, 63, of North Stary Highway in Weare on second-degree and reckless conduct charges, both felonies. She was accused of leaving a firearm in her purse, within access to a child, who later shot himself on Nov. 18, 2021.

Shanna Landry, 34, of Grove Avenue in Salem on two felony possession of a controlled drug-subsequent, fentanyl and methamphetamine, charges on March 6 in Goffstown.

Philip H. Mathewson, 55, of Norway Hill Road in Hancock on aggravated felonious sexual assault and criminal restraint charges. He was accused of raping a man, blocking a doorway exit to keep him from leaving, and grabbing him by the neck on March 31 in Hancock.

Marcos Nieves, 46, of Ash Street in Manchester on cruelty to animals, three reckless conduct, and two pistols & revolvers; convicted felons charges, all felonies. He was accused of firing a gun inside an apartment, placing others in danger, torturing a terrier, and possessing firearms on March 21. Domenic Joseph Palomba, 45, of Timberwood Drive in Goffstown on a felony second-degree assault charge. He was accused of punching an intimate partner in the torso, causing a fractured rib on March 2 in Goffstown.

Brandon Perry, 30, a homeless man now located in Londonderry, on a felony receiving stolen property charge. He was accused of stealing an iPhone owned by another person in Manchester on Oct. 18, 2021, after twice before being convicted on theft charges.
