Michael A. Barnes, 58, of Library Street in Allenstown, was arrested at 7:16 p.m. on Nov. 19, for criminal trespass. Officers were called to the Toys R Us on Loudon Road for a 911 caller requesting police and an ambulance. When they arrived at the scene, they found a man standing near the door. The man, Barnes, was asked why police were requested and he reportedly stated that his wife was claiming he was on drugs when he wasn’t. “Barnes told me that they only thing he had consumed was ‘a couple of beers,’” the officer reported. “When asked if he was injured or needed an ambulance, Barnes said, ‘No, I’m fine.’” The report stated that Barnes later explained that he was dropping off money to his wife and daughter and after he arrived, they began arguing and she called 911. A check yielded a no trespass letter for Barnes at the Toys R Us issued in July. When asked why he was there if he had an active no trespass letter, he allegedly stated, “Because my ex-wife asked me to bring her money,” that he forgot about the letter, and was excited to see his daughter, according to the report. He was arrested and is due in court on Dec. 28.

Blaze A. Gebo, 28, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested at 1:42 p.m. on Nov. 2, for felony theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, default or breach of bail conditions, and a felony warrant. Officers were sent to Walmart on Loudon Road for a shoplifter who had fled the store but dropped his backpack along the way. One officer took the report – involving $285 worth of stolen items including golf balls, an ATV battery, a package Rice Krispie Treats, and other items – while other officers searched the area. After following up on tips that he might be behind Toys R Us and later, the Regal Cinemas, they were unable to find him. However, one of the witnesses later saw the man near TJMaxx and officers were sent to the area. The man, later identified as Gebo, was seen walking on Loudon Road by Bridge Street. Gebo reportedly denied being at Walmart but had an active warrant out of Belknap County for burglary and failure to appear and was taken in to custody. Eyewitness statements about clothing items he was wearing reportedly pinned Gebo to the shoplifting incident, according to the report. Since he was convicted in September 2013 and December 2009 in Franklin District Court on willful concealment and shoplifting charges, the charge was elevated to a felony. Gebo is due in court on Dec. 7.
