Another Crash At Hoit Road And Mountain Road In East Concord: Watch
Concord police and fire and rescue teams were sent to an accident on Saturday after a car and an SUV crashed in East Concord.
CONCORD, NH — Concord fire and rescue teams and police were sent to another crash at the intersection of Mountain Road and Hoit Road on Saturday.
Just before 2 p.m., dispatchers and 911 began receiving reports of a crash, possibly involving three vehicles. When police arrived, they found two vehicles involved in the accident — a Ford 500 sedan off to the side of the road after colliding with a Mazda SUV.
Around 2:30 p.m., EMTs and firefighters cleared the accident after stating three patients refused transportation to the hospital.

Two tow trucks were called to the scene to remove the vehicles. The officer requested dispatch to let the tow truck driver for the Ford know that it was about 20 yards off the road and into some brush.

There have been a number of crashes at or near the intersection during the past few years. In late June, there was a multi-vehicle crash that sent two people to Concord Hospital. Last month, near Old Shaker Road, a truck flipped into some swampland nearby. There was a head-on crash between a car and a pickup truck back in 2015. Also in 2015, a motorcycle crash on Mountain Road sent two to the hospital. A 2013 crash on Mountain Road led to a charge against a Concord man while two men and a woman were arrested after a crash in 2014.
