Concord Man Arrested After Spraying Beer On Car, Passengers: Docs
Anthony Roesel was charged with assault, breach after allegedly having open container in a car on Fisk Road, then, splashing beer on people.

CONCORD, NH — A local man reportedly involved in the “shots fired” call in Penacook last year is in more trouble with police after allegedly splashing people with beer inside a vehicle earlier this month, according to court reports. Anthony Roesel, 25, a homeless man now located in Concord, was arrested on simple assault and two counts of domestic violence-simple assault charges on Jan. 3, 2018. He was arrested again on Jan. 10, 2018, for default or breach of bail conditions. According to court and police reports, police were sent to Fisk Road on Jan. 3, for a report of a domestic incident.

The woman – who was driving – alleged that Roesel was a passenger in a Honda Accord when he reportedly opened a beer inside the vehicle. A second woman in the vehicle told him that he couldn’t open the beer and he allegedly “became belligerent,” the driver alleged. Roesel allegedly continued to drink the beer and they all continued to argue about it. The driver then told Roesel that she was bringing him to police headquarters and he reportedly requested her to pull over.

“Once (she) stopped, Roesel took his open container of beer, shook it, and sprayed it all over the car to include (the two women) and two small children,” the report alleged.
After the dispute, he left on foot, walking north on Fisk Road, the affidavit alleged.

Other officers caught up with Roesel while the reporting officer spoke with the women. The reporting officer noted in the report that there was beer on the roof of the vehicle as well as the center console and the four individuals inside the vehicle also were wearing wet clothing.
The reporting officer then went to speak with Roesel who “responded with nothing” when asked about the incident. Later, he allegedly denied drinking and said nothing happened, according to the affidavit. Roesel also allegedly admitted to drinking earlier at Walmart and being involved in an argument. He was arrested and held on $750 cash bail. He was arraigned on Jan. 4.
The next morning, a detective found out about the case and filed a warrant against Roesel for default or breach of bail conditions. At the time of the alleged beer splashing incident, Roesel was out of bail due to simple assault and domestic violence charges after an alleged incident on Nov. 2, 2017. She called the court to check on the bail conditions as well as a no contact order with one of the passengers in the vehicle. That order was lifted on Nov. 3, she noted in her warrant, so she only filed the breach charge – based on Roesel being ordered to have no alcohol while out on bail – after allegedly admitting to drinking to the officer on Fisk Road the night before.
Roesel was arrested on Jan. 10, on the default charge.
According to reports on Patch, Roesel has been arrested a number of times including driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated-second offense, endangering the welfare of a child/incompetent, driving after revocation or suspension, reckless conduct, criminal threatening, a criminal mischief, criminal trespass, and consumption of liquor on private property.
