Concord Police Log: Beer on Boyfriend's Head Leads to Assault Arrest

Plus, Concord man takes swings at his mother and a teen is arrested on felony criminal threatening deadly weapon charges.

Michael Jacob Sanders, 20, of Mason Court in Concord, was arrested at 10:13 p.m. on Nov. 4, 2014, on two simple assault charges and an unlawful possession of alcohol violation. Officers were sent to Mason Court for a report of people fighting in a yard. They came across Sanders, a woman from Manchester, Sanders’ mother, and another man. According to the report, the Manchester woman came by the home to talk to Sanders about their relationship. They started arguing and he reportedly took her car and drove away. She called the mother and later, they came outside and Sanders had returned and was in the car. The mother told Sanders to get out of the car and he allegedly “flipped out” and pushed his mother. Her boyfriend came out and tried to restrain Sanders but he got out of the car and allegedly started swinging at people. He allegedly began kicking and punching the woman’s car. After police arrived, he allegedly admitted to drinking earlier and was arrested. Sanders was allegedly “swaying from side to side” during processing.

Donnelle A. Combs, 38, of Branch Turnpike in Concord, was arrested at 4:21 p.m. on Nov. 5, on a simple assault charge from Oct. 22, at the intersection of North State and Foster streets. He turned himself in on the warrant and was arraigned Dec. 15.

Eric Scott Driscoll, 34, of Seminole Road in Hillsboro, was arrested at 9:59 p.m. on Nov. 5, on a driving after revocation or suspension charge. He was stopped on Airport Road after an officer saw the car suddenly brake, signal, then take an odd turn onto Hazen Drive from East Side Drive. A check of his license revealed that it was suspended and he was arrested.

Courtney Fontone, 28, of Hanover Street in Concord, was arrested at 4:40 p.m. on Nov. 6, on two counts of default or breach of bail conditions at the Toys ‘R’ Us on Loudon Road on Nov. 4, and on Laurel Street on Oct. 31. She was arraigned on Dec. 15.

Thomas C. Boyce Jr., 18, of Rex Drive in Concord, was arrested at 8:01 p.m. on Nov. 6, on two felony counts of criminal threatening (use of a deadly weapon, a knife or cutting instrument) from Nov. 5, on Douglas Avenue. He turned himself in on a warrant and was arraigned on Dec. 15.

Nkurikiye Felicien, 41, of Loudon Road in Concord, received a summons at 8:20 a.m. on Nov. 7, for operating without a valid license. He was stopped on Loudon Road for driving a minivan without any headlights on.

Christopher J. Morin, 49, of Fisherville Road in Concord, was arrested at 5:19 p.m. on Nov. 7, and charged with conduct after an accident and moving a vehicle from Nov. 1, at the intersection of Storrs and Depot streets. He’s due in court on Dec. 29.

Corey Taylor Fifield, 21, of Gilsum Street in Keene, was arrested at 11:20 p.m. on Nov. 8, on a bench warrant out of Franklin District Court for nonappearance in court on an operating after suspension charge, $250 cash bail. He reportedly told police he was expecting more warrants and hadn’t checked in with his probation officer since moving, which might be a violation. He was held without bail and arraigned on Nov. 10.

Deanna Lea Bennett, 42, of McCoy Street in Concord, was arrested at 8:06 p.m. on Nov. 9, on simple assault and resisting arrest charges. Officers were called to McCoy Street for a report of a domestic involving a woman who threw beer at a man. They spoke to Bennett who reportedly stated that she and her boyfriend had been arguing all day and that she shook up a beer can, opened it, and poured it on his head. While questioning the two, an officer reported that Bennett went out for a smoke and stated something like, All this because I poured a beer on you. She was then arrested but allegedly refused to allow herself to be cuffed, turning away from the officers. A German Shepherd began circling the officers and Bennett and bit Bennett’s sleeve as she was allegedly yelling that she wasn’t going to be arrested. She was warned to stop or she would be Tased and she reportedly stopped. “Bennett was crying and yelling the whole ride while I transported her to headquarters,” the officer wrote. Bennett is due in court on Dec. 29.

John Thomas Conkle, 38, a homeless man now located in Concord, received a summons at 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 10, for passing of items to or from the occupant of a motor vehicle. He was given the summons after reportedly being seen panhandling on Fort Eddy Road.

Kayla Emond, 26, of Gardenia Avenue in Hampton Bay, NY, was arrested at 8:42 p.m. on Nov. 11, on a bench warrant. An officer met Emond at the Concord Coach Bus Depot on Stickney Avenue where Emond turned herself in on a Franklin District Court warrant on a theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charge, $1,993.63 cash bail.
