On March 9, officers were involved in a drug investigation at Walmart in Concord after witnesses reported seeing a woman inserting a needle into her arm in the parking lot, John Thomas, the deputy chief of the Concord Police Department, stated. Police identified Robin Lynn Lane, 55, of Concord, to be the woman, and accused her of having more than $2,000 in cash as well as possessing a gram of cocaine, a gram of methamphetamine, and 13 grams of fentanyl-heroin. She was arrested on a single count of possession of a controlled drug with intent to distribute and three possession charges, all felonies.

On Monday, officers conducted a traffic stop in a vehicle Lane was driving, Thomas said.
