CRIME LOG: Goffstown Man Arrested for DWI

Plus, teens summoned for skateboarding.

Michael Dana Morin, 51, a homeless man now located in Concord, received a summons at 4 p.m. on July 18, on a criminal trespass charge. Officers were sent to the Kimball Jenkins Estate for a report of homeless people in the area. The officers checked the area and found Morin under the I-393 bridge. He was arrested last year for trespassing in the area. Morin was issued a summons and a no trespass letter for the estate.

Jason William McCormick, 37, a homeless man currently located in Concord, was arrested at 12:31 a.m. on July 19, on criminal trespass and default or breach of bail conditions charges. An officer was sent to the Cumberland Farms on North Main Street for a trespasser. The officer was familiar with the man, McCormick, who was told earlier in the evening to leave and was given a no trespass letter. The officer asked him what he was doing and he said he just got to the store. When he was told that he wasn’t supposed to be there, McCormick allegedly asked, “So, I’m getting arrested?” And then, he was arrested and held without bail. At 8:30 a.m., he was issued a summons for criminal trespass on for an alleged incident on July 6, on Fort Eddy Road.

Scott A. Perkins, 20, of Cole Road in Northwood, was arrested at 9:59 a.m. on July 19, on theft by deception and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer charges from April 28, at Walmart on Loudon Road. Perkins was arrested by Nottingham Police. He had a court date on Aug. 25.

Steven Rowell, 17, of Route 4 in Danbury, was arrested at 5:29 p.m. on July 19, on possession of use of tobacco product by minors. Officers were sent to the South Street Market for a report of a subject inside wearing a ski mask. Other officers caught up with the teen on Thorndike Street. The store clerk reported that she order the teen to take the mask off when he entered the store, which he did, but she said he was a regular and his behavior was “odd.” When asked why he was wearing the mask, Rowell allegedly said he didn’t like his hair. Officers found that he had cigarettes and he was taken into custody. He had a court date on Aug. 25.

Vincent L. Soltani, 17, of Highland Drive in Epsom, and Paul Noyes, 19, of Saunders Street in Concord, received summonses at 6:54 p.m. on July 19, on a skateboarding in a prohibited area violation. While on foot patrol during Market Days, an officer saw two men skateboarding within site of signs warning that there was no skateboarding on North Main Street. Both allegedly knew they were supposed to be skateboarding and were summoned to court.

Alexander M. Cornn, 22, of Conestoga Court in Goffstown, was arrested at 2:35 a.m. on July 20, on a driving while intoxicated charge. Officers were sent to a complaint about a party on Hammond Street. More units were called to the area. While on Hall Street heading to Hammond, an officer saw a white Subaru disregard a stop sign at Home Avenue. The car was reportedly traveling down Hall Street “at a high rate of speed” and the officer pulled the vehicle over just before the Bow line. The officer began questioning Cornn as to whether he was coming from the party and he reportedly changed the subject and started asking questions. The officer alleged that Cornn smelled like alcohol and wouldn’t answer questions. He allegedly had an “irate demeanor” and conducted an HGN test while he was sitting in the car. The officer twice requested that he step out of the vehicle for a field sobriety test and he reportedly refused and was arrested. He was arraigned on Aug. 4.

Ross Burton, 26, of Route 27 in Raymond, was arrested at 9:45 p.m. on July 20, on a theft by unauthorized taking or transfer from NH Digital Outfittes at the Steeplegate Mall on June 26. Bedford Police arrested Burton and he was processed. He had a court date on Aug. 25.

Codie M. Brown, 21, of Garvins Falls Road in Concord, was arrested at 11:51 p.m. on July 20, on a disorderly conduct charge. An officer was at the intersection of Storrs and South Main streets when he saw a man “screaming on his phone” and later, throwing it to the ground. He then jumped off the curb into the road to grab his phone, reportedly causing a motorist to slam on the brakes and swerve to avoid hitting him. The man, Brown, had allegedly been drinking and was “very uncooperative and disrespectful throughout my entire interaction with him,” the officer reported. He was arrested and held without bail.
