Elderly NH Woman Loses Her Life After Highway Crash: NHSP

CONCORD, NH — A Rochester woman passed away at the scene of a motor vehicle crash on Route 16 late last month, according to New Hampshire State Police. Jacqueline C. McKay, 71, of Rochester, was traveling north on Route 16 in Dover in a 2016 Ford Fiesta at just before midnight on Feb. 27, 2017, when she – for an unknown reason – lost control of her vehicle, skidded off the road, and crashed into trees, according to Capt. Christopher Vetter of the NHSP.

“McKay was pronounced deceased at the scene by a member of the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner,” he noted.

Part of the road was closed for about two hours during the investigation and cleanup of the accident scene. Neither speed nor alcohol appear to have been factors.

Brian Morgan, 27, of Center Ossipee, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 16, 2017, for drug possession after an alleged incident on I-95 North in North Hampton

Trevor Commenator, 20, of Manchester, was arrested at 12:20 a.m. on Feb. 15, 2017, for DUI-minor greater than 0.02, DUI, open container, possession of a controlled drug-marijuana, and transportation of alcohol by a minor after an alleged incident on Route 101 East in Auburn.

Randall Morse, 36, of Nottingham, was arrested at 8 p.m. on Feb. 13, 2017, for aggravated DUI-30+ mph, DUI, and DUI-adult greater than 0.08 after an alleged incident on Route 101 East in Epping.

Jacqueline Jeanotte, 24, of Rochester, was arrested at 12:30 a.m. on Feb. 11, 2017, for DUI and failure to yield at a stop or yield sign after an alleged incident on Cutts Street in Portsmouth.

Richard Langlois, 59, of Raymond, was arrested at 4:09 p.m. on Feb. 10, 2017, for two counts of DUI and breach of bail after an alleged incident on Main Street in Fremont.

Brandon Bennett, 28, of Keene, was arrested at 1:22 a.m. on Feb. 18, 2017, for aggravated DUI 0.16+, DUI, and transporting drugs in a motor vehicle after an alleged incident on Route 12 in Swanzey.

Lewis Elliott, 45, of South Acworth, was arrested at 5:30 a.m. on Feb. 11, 2017, for aggravated DUI 0.16+ and conduct after an accident after an alleged incident on Route 123 in Alstead.

A 16-year-old from Concord was arrested at 12:11 a.m. on Feb. 19, 2017, for aggravated DUI with a passenger under 16, DUI, speeding 16 to 20 mph over the 65 limit, unlawful possession/intoxication, and lane control violation after an alleged incident on I-93 North in Bow.

Jeremiah Menard, 40, of Newport, was arrested at 10 a.m. on Feb. 18, 2017, for possession of a controlled drug-crack/heroin, less than 5 grams, after an alleged incident in Hooksett.

Rebekah Emerson, 43, of Manchester, was arrested at 5:05 a.m. on Feb. 17, 2017, for second-degree assault-domestic violence. She was arrested at the I-93 North rest area in Hooksett.

A 17-year-old from Meredith was arrested at 9:13 p.m. on Feb. 3, 2017, for transporting drugs and alcohol in a motor vehicle after an alleged incident on Route 3 in Meredith.

Kevin Cook, 59, of Tamworth, was arrested at 7:37 p.m. on Feb. 3, 2017, for first-degree assault-domestic violence and domestic violence-simple assault after an alleged incident on Durrell Road in Tamworth.

John Hyde, 28, of Enfield, CT, was arrested at 6:55 p.m. on Feb. 5, 2017, for transporting drugs in a motor vehicle after an alleged incident on Route 116 in Haverhill.
