Felon Arrested On Gun Charges After Spraying Low Avenue With Bullets
Breaking: Timothy Dearborn was arrested last night after allegedly displaying a handgun and firing it repeatedly in Downtown Concord.

CONCORD, NH — A local felon with a lengthy criminal history is once again behind bars after allegedly flashing and firing a handgun on Low Avenue in Concord late last night, according to police. Timothy Dearborn, 33, of Concord, was arrested on June 15, 2017, and charged with felon in possession of a firearm and reckless conduct, both felonies, as well as unauthorized use of firearm and criminal threatening. According to police, at about 11:45 p.m. last night, officers were sent downtown for “multiple reports of shots being fired in the area of Low Avenue,” according to Lt. Sean Ford, the commander of the criminal investigations unit for the Concord Police Department.

Witnesses reported that a man they knew had allegedly flashed a gun and then, began firing it.

“The male then walked to Low Avenue which parallels North Main Street where it is believed that he discharged approximately 30 rounds from a 9 mm pistol,” Ford alleged. “Responding officers located the suspect walking north on North Main Street in close proximity to where the shots were fired. He was immediately detained.”
Investigators located a 9 mm semi-automatic firearm, expended ammunition magazines, and numerous shell casings along Low Avenue, Ford noted. There were no reports of injuries and police spent the morning eyeing property in the area for damages, he noted.

During booking and processing, Dearborn allegedly threatened to harm officers through verbal and physical actions, Ford alleged.
The Concord Police were assisted at the scene by troopers from the New Hampshire State Police. Concord Police are asking the public for any information pertaining to the incident. Call Ford at 603-225-8600 or the Concord Regional Crimeline 603-226-3100.
Dearborn’s numerous crimes and arrests
During the past five years, Dearborn has been arrested numerous times, according to posts on New Hampshire Patch.com sites.
Back in 2012, in Portsmouth, he was arrested on burglary charges after reportedly breaking into a gift shop to steal beer and into a storage shed to steal a Willy Wonka sweatshirt, according to reports.
In 2015, he was arrested by Rockingham Sheriffs for def sent violation on burglary charges. He was in the Belknap County Jail at the time of the arrest. He was charged with public drinking in Concord at a local gas station. Dearborn was also arrested on breach and alcohol charges again in Concord in May and September. He was arrested again by sheriffs, while living in Massachusetts, on a burglary charge.
Last year, while he was living in Bristol, he was arrested on warrants out of Nashua District Court after reportedly drinking at the Irving on Pleasant Street. He was also arrested again in Concord on a warrant out of Bedford in May 2016, on a theft charge.
In 2017, was arrested in Concord in late March on criminal trespass charges and default or breach of bail conditions at the Cumberland Farms on North Main Street. A few weeks before that incident, he was arrested on a theft charge after an incident at Donovan’s. In April, he was arrested in Nashua for disorderly conduct and then again in Concord – twice in 12 hours – on breach of bail charges. Last month, Dearborn was arrested for indecent exposure and breach of bail in Nashua.
