Shaun P. Drew, born 1982, of Concord, was arrested at 7:19 a.m. on Jan. 17 on a bench warrant after an incident on Manchester Street.
Zachary Hayden Sanborn, born 1992, of Boscawen, was arrested at 4:25 a.m. on Jan. 17 on two credit card fraud-less than $1,000 charges. According to an affidavit, on Dec. 2, 2019, an officer took a wallet theft report from a woman. The woman was loading boxes into the trunk of her vehicle on Storrs Street a few days before when she noticed her wallet was missing. Not long after, she began receiving text alerts of potential fraudulent purchases of around $340 were made on two of her credit cards at Speedway on North Main Street, Best Buy on D'Amante Drive, and Madina Corp. (online beauty products). One purchase at Walmart for $250 was declined. The officer began tracing the purchases and obtained video surveillance footage from Best Buy where a television was purchased by a man while with a woman. After circulating the footage, two detectives said it might be Sanborn, the report stated, while the woman was identified as Brittany Fisher. In the affidavit, the officer said Sanborn could be seen in the video approaching the register with the television but she didn't see the transaction. A reprint of the receipt from Best Buy, however, matched the stolen credit card number, according to the affidavit. The officer then went to Speedway and spoke to an employee who provided a receipt for gas purchased as well as surveillance footage which showed a man with the same clothing as the man in the Best Buy store, according to the affidavit. The officer then ran the temporary plate on the vehicle and found an entry that it was stopped for speeding on Dec. 5, 2019. Both Sanborn and Fisher were named in the traffic stop report. The officer who made the traffic stop confirmed the man in the surveillance footage was the person he had stopped. An affidavit was filed on Jan. 15 and Sanborn was arrested two days later.
