O'Malley Returns to NH to Campaign for Clinton

Former Maryland governor will hold events in the northern part of the Granite State on Thursday.

Former Maryland Gov Martin O’Malley is scheduled to be back in the Granite State on Oct. 6, 2016, to campaign on behalf of Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire, according to a press statement. The campaign noted that O’Malley "will discuss Hillary Clinton’s plan to build an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top and Donald Trump's history of enriching himself at the expense of working families."

At events on college campuses, O'Malley will meet with students and discuss Hillary Clinton's New College Compact, a plan that would ensure that families with income up to $125,000 pay no tuition at in-state public colleges and universities, benefiting more than 81 percent of New Hampshire households who will pay no tuition at in-state public colleges and universities, the campaign noted.

With more people voting in this election than any in history, Governor O'Malley will talk about the importance of electing Democrats up and down the ticket and urge New Hampshire voters to visit iwillvote.com/learn to ensure that they have all the information they need to vote on Election Day. Additionally, he will remind volunteers to communicate to voters that New Hampshire offers same-day voter registration.
