DURHAM, NH — Hillary Clinton’s post-first presidential debate event in New Hampshire, announced yesterday, will be a college affordability discussion at UNH in Durham, according to the campaign. At 2:15 p.m. on Sept. 28, 2016, Clinton will be joined by U.S. Sen. The campaign stated that Sanders will join Clinton to discuss “their shared belief that cost should not be a barrier for anyone who chooses to go to college, and student debt should not hold Americans back after they leave school.” Part of the discussion will include Clinton’s plan to enable all students with family income up to $125,000 to attend an in-state public college or university tuition-free. The campaign said her plan would cover more than 80 percent of all families.

“They will lay out the stakes of November's election and urge Granite Staters to support Hillary Clinton and Tim Kaine's vision of an America that is stronger together, with an economy that works for everyone, not just those at the top,” the campaign noted. “They will also urge grassroots supporters to continue volunteering throughout the final weeks leading up to Election Day to get their friends, families, and neighbors to fill out a ‘Commit to Vote’ card.”

The trip will be the first time Clinton has been in the state in a few months. U.S. Sen. Tim Kaine, D-VA, the party’s vice presidential nominee, was in the state earlier this month as was U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-VT.
