Merrimack Man Indicted On 12 Possession Of Child Sexual Abuse Image Counts: Court Roundup

Nashua stalker indicted on new charges; teens face witness tampering indictments after shooting; Hollis felon indicted on weapon charges.

NASHUA, NH — A Hillsborough County grand jury indicted the following people recently.

Melissa Tavares, 18, of Kienia Road in Hudson, and John Williams Jr., 22, of Hooksett, on a felony count of witness tampering each and a felony count of conspiracy to commit witness tampering each. They were accused of attempting between July 1 and July 4, 2024, to cause another person to take responsibility for the firing of a shotgun at Arms Park in Manchester. Also, during the same time period, they both invited the other person to Tavares’ home and urged them to inform falsely, according to the indictments. Also indicted was Ava Williams, 18, of Kienia Road in Hudson, on a felony conspiracy to commit witness tampering charge. She agreed with Melissa Tavares to invite the person over to Tavares’ home to convince them to falsely inform about the firing of a shotgun at Arms Park in Manchester, according to the indictment. Jayson Tucker, 26, of Lewis Street in Nashua, on two felony stalking charges. He was accused of calling and texting an intimate partner, in violation of protective order, on Nov. 23, 2023, in Nashua. Tucker was previously convicted of stalking in March 2022 in Nashua District Court.

Brian Vickers, 45, of Bell Lane in Hollis, on two felony pistols & revolvers charges. He was accused of possessing a firearm and metallic knuckles on Aug. 14, 2024, in Nashua. Vickers was previously convicted on a felon in possession charge in November 2017 in Hillsborough County Superior Court South.

Brian Xiao, 27, of Innovation Way in Merrimack, on 12 felony counts of possession of child sexual abuse images. He was accused of possessing videos on Sept. 12 and Oct. 24, 2024, in Merrimack.
