Derry, Newmarket Men Indicted On Strangulation Charges: County Superior Court Roundup

Plus: Derry, Manchester men indicted on ID fraud, theft charges; NY man fails to appear in court in 2008, 2012: drug indictments.

BRENTWOOD, NH — A Rockingham County grand jury indicted the following people recently.

Angel Manuel Aguilar Rojas, 36, of Weare Street in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on organized retail crime enterprise and theft by unauthorized taking charges, both felonies. He was accused of conspiring with Brooke Elizabeth Juliano of stealing merchandise from Macy’s in Salem on July 18. Twice before, Rojas has been convicted on theft charges.

Oscar M. Alicea, 28, of Fairway Drive in Derry on a felony domestic violence-second degree assault-strangulation charge. He was accused of strangling an intimate partner on July 28 in Derry.

James Robert Allen, 59, of Shore Drive in Salem on a felony possession of methamphetamine charge on Sept. 23, 2022, in Derry.

Nicholas Gage Allen, 31, of Beech Street in Lewiston, Maine, on a felony possession of cocaine charge on July 24 in Brentwood.

Douglas E. Anderson, 48, of Hermart Lane in Lake Ronkokoma, New York, on two felony bail jumping charges. He was accused of failing to appear in court on a motion to revoke bail on Oct. 23, 2008, and a bail forfeiture hearing on March 29, 2012, in Rockingham County Superior Court in Brentwood.

Scott Jamie Thomas Ashness, 43, of an unknown address in Derry, on identity fraud, forgery, and attempted theft by deception charges, all felonies. He was accused of posing as another, uttering a $4,640 check to Pelham Plate Glass LLC, and then trying to withdraw $7,200 from the company’s checking account on Oct. 19 in Derry.

Jean L. Beaulieu, 52, of Hall Street in Manchester on identity fraud and theft by unauthorized taking charges, all felonies. He was accused of defrauding Scamman Home & Garden in Stratham by presenting a driver’s license with another person’s name on it to rent a U-Haul truck on April 8 and not returning the 2019 Ford Econoline truck between April 8 and May 3.

Maxwell Blatchford, 24, of Millstream Drive in Exeter on a felony possession of alprazolam charge on May 6 in Kingston.

Aaron Kirk Kiniry, 37, of Rockingham Village in Seabrook on possession of oxycodone and possession of methylphenidate, both felonies, as well as resisting arrest or detention charges. He was accused of possessing the drugs and running from a police officer on Oct. 12, 2022, in Seabrook.

Vicki J. Knowles, 40, of Bigs Lane in Seabrook on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. She was accused of stealing merchandise from Market Basket in Seabrook on June 2. Twice before, she was convicted on theft charges.
