Kensington EMT Indicted On Multiple Child Rape, Sexual Assault Charges: Court Roundup

Hampstead man indicted on strangulation, assault charges; Portsmouth man faces 7 assault charges; women accused of passing counterfeit cash.

A man from Massachusetts was indicted on 5 felony nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images charges — accused of taking pictures of a woman in Seabrook while involved in sexual relations with her and intending to harass and intimidate her.

BRENTWOOD, NH — The following people were indicted recently in Rockingham County Superior Court.

Matthew J. Burkhardt, 31, of Pinewood Drive in Somersworth on a possession of psilocin charge on Jan. 13 in Kingston.

Todd A. Burnim, 55, incarcerated at the Rockingham County Jail at the time of the indictment, on nine felony aggravated felonious sexual assault counts and a single misdemeanor sexual assault charge. He was accused of repeatedly raping and fondling a girl between May 2012 and January 2021 in Kensington. Burnim was a former EMT from Kensington.

Andrew Clark, 43, of West Road in Hampstead on felony second-degree assault-strangulation-domestic violence and domestic violence-simple assault charges. He was accused of strangling an intimate partner and pouring a beer on her head on March 5 in Kingston.

Nicholas James Collins, 35, of Wilson Road in Portsmouth on felony second-degree assault, breach of bail, resisting arrest or detention, and six simple assault charges. He was accused of kicking and punching another person, causing rib fractures, on Nov. 14, 2022, in Portsmouth. At the time, Collins was out on bail after being arrested in Nov. 10, 2022.

Charles Corcoran, 37, of Westminster Lane in Stafford, Vermont, on two felony burglary charges. In Salem, he was accused of burglarizing a storage unit on Aug. 16, 2022.

Rebecca Joy Cormier, 43, of London Road in Westmoreland on a felony forgery charge. She was accused of passing a counterfeit $100 bill to a bail commissioner in Londonderry on Sept. 24, 2022.

Malkyraah M. Cornwell, 25, of Pine Street in Providence, Rhode Island, on a felony theft by unauthorized taking charge. She was accused of stealing fragrances from Ulta Beauty on June 13, 2022, in Salem.

Kacey M. Crawford, 35, of Bluff Street in Salem on a felony attempted theft by deception charge. She was accused of attempting to obtain a Chime card from Walgreens with a counterfeit $100 bill on Jan. 25 in Salem. Twice before, Crawford has been convicted on theft charges.

Luis Antonio Cruz Jr., 30, of 7th Avenue in Haverhill, Massachusetts, on five felony nonconsensual dissemination of private sexual images charges. He was accused of taking pictures of a woman while involved in sexual relations with her in Seabrook on Jan. 3, while intending to harass or intimidate her with the photos.
