Firefighters located the fire in one-story house at the end of a long snow-covered driveway. They began an aggressive interior attack on the attic fire, and quickly had the blaze extinguished and under control, officials said.

Operations sectors were handled by Assistant Chiefs Tom Napolitano, Alan Berkowitz and Joe Williamson, officials said.
