The East Hampton Historical Society hosted their annual cocktail party on Friday, Nov. 28. The annual event, now in its 30th year, was held for the first time at the historical Maidstone Club, on 29 Maidstone Lane in East Hampton.
The cocktail party was a kick-off to the 2014 House and Garden Tour, which took place on Saturday, Nov. 29. This year’s tour comprised of five of homes and gardens in East Hampton on Egypt, Hither and Buell Lane.

The cocktail party also served as a fundraiser to benefit the East Hampton Historical Society.
“This is one of our most important fund-raisers,” said the event chairman, Joseph Aversano.

Maidstone Club Staff’s Barbara Moynihan, East Hampton Historical Society Director Richard Barons with his wife Rosanne Barons, Mardie Gorman, Kate Graham, Lynne Scanlon, Arthur “Tiger” Graham, Pam Blackman, Joan Denny, Charles Russell and Mary Buschand Event Chairman Joseph Aversano were among those attending the party.
