Several Hamptons Roads at Risk For Flooding
A flood advisory is in effect until 1 p.m. for all of Long Island.

A flood advisory is in effect until 1 p.m. for both Nasssau and Suffolk counties and in the Hamptons, some problem areas are at risk for flooding.
While there have not been complaints of flooding so far, several areas in both East Hampton and Southampton are at risk for flooding as the weather continues.
Southampton Town will be closing early due to hazardous driving conditions.

There are some problem areas where snow is packed into the drains, blocking the flow of rain, along Montauk Highway, Southampton Village Administrator Stephen Funsch told 27east.

In Sag Harbor, there is some flooding on Spring and Rose Streets and Route 114, where the highway department is working to clear the drains, according to 27east.

So far, there is no major flooding in East Hampton, but East Hampton Town Police Chief Michael Sarlo told 27east that the town is monitoring areas that have started to collect water, such Route 114, Stephen Hands Path and Long Lane.
A message on the East Hampton Town says that motorists should be prepared for dangerous and icy roads and that travel is not recommended.
