Body Found Near Wantagh LIRR
Man's body discovered under the train platform Sunday morning.
The body of a man was found under the platform of Wantagh Long Island Railroad station Sunday morning, officials said.
A train conductor driving the 6:25 a.m. train to Babylon spotted the body at 7:30 a.m. between the track and the south side of the platform, according to Newsday.
“The body was not on the tracks but off to the side,” said MTA spokesman Salvatore Arena, according to the report.
