LBMS to Present 'The Phantom Tollbooth'

The talented students of Long Beach Middle School will present “Phantom Tollbooth” as their spring drama production Thursday and Friday at 7 p.m.

The story is based on the 1961 novel by Norton Juster. Under the direction of teacher Lauren Diesu, the cast will transform their auditorium stage as they portray the tale of Milo, played by Natalie Goggin, who drives through a magic tollbooth and is transported to a land of adventures. During an excitement-filled journey, Milo encounters a variety of characters. Students Hugh J. Van Well, Shea McMahen, Zen Yokel, Andrew D’Alessandro, John Mateyko, Jessica Guadagnino, Nicole Celis and James O’Connor will star in other leading roles, and the full cast and crew are listed below.

Tickets can be purchased at the door for $7 or in advance by students during lunch periods for $5. For more information call the Middle School at 516-897-2162.
