Substance Abuse Prevention Program in Port Washington

Learn how to spot warning signs, how to protect children and how to prevent others from abusing personal prescription drugs.

A free program will be available to Port Washington parents to help them protect their children from substance abuse.

The program is focused towards parents, but anyone who is interested in the topic is welcome to attend. Parents who wish to bring their children are welcome to do so.

  • How to prevent others from abusing your personal prescription drugs and how to properly secure them

The substance abuse prevention program is sponsored by Senator Jack M. Martins and the Nassau County Police Department. The event will be held on Wednesday, May 6 at the Port Washington Library, 1 Library Drive.

The program kicks off at 7:30 p.m.
