Police: Man Sold Heroin to Undercover Detectives in Massapequa
Incident occurred Saturday night.

An Amityville man was arrested Saturday night after he sold heroin to an undercover detectives in Massapequa, police said.
According to police, Darryl Troutman, 29, of 51 Ireland Place, met with the detectives and agreed to sell an undetermined amount of heroin for an undisclosed amount of money at 9:50 p.m. Troutman was placed under arrest without incident.
The investigation was conducted by Nassau County narcotics detectives as a part of the Long Island Heroin Initiative. Last week, two men sold heroin and crash cocaine to an undercover cop in a Massapequa parking lot, police said.

Troutman is charged with four counts of third degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, three counts of third degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and one count of third degree attempted criminal sale of a controlled substance. He will be arraigned on Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead.
